World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims – 2025
Observed on 16th November 2025 at RTO Ground, Chevayur, Kozhikode at 10:00 AM, in coordination with the Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) to honor road traffic victims and promote road safety.
The event began with an introduction to the significance of WDR and a welcome speech by Sri. K. Rajagopalan, Secretary of TRACK. He invited Sri. Adv. Pradip Kumar C. M. to chair the campaign and deliver the Presidential Address, setting a thoughtful and purposeful tone for the day.
A symbolic candlelight tribute followed, led by Deputy Transport Commissioner Sri. C. V. M. Sharief, who handed over the lighted candle to the relatives of road traffic victims. The flame was then shared with the audience, representing collective remembrance and solidarity.

This heartfelt gathering served as a powerful reminder of the importance of road safety, community support, and honoring the lives lost in traffic incidents.
